Using AI in Business Workshop: Putting AI to Work

Most people have tried generative AI. Far fewer have built reliable ways to use it in everyday work. 

Using AI in Business is a hands on full-day workshop for people who already understand what tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot can do and now want to use them more effectively.  

Rather than spending the day collecting prompts, you will learn how to give AI better context, build repeatable workflows, review output properly and decide where AI would genuinely add value to your organisation. 

The aim is simple. You’ll leave with a set of useful AI workflows you can actually use, rather than a long list of things you might try one day.

This is the perfect full day course for business owners, marketers, managers and professionals who have already experimented with generative AI and want to move from ad-hoc use to more structured, useful application. You do not need technical or coding knowledge. 

The session will help you to: 

– Identify business tasks where AI can create useful time or quality gains. 

– Write better instructions using context, objective, constraints, examples and output requirements. 

– Create reusable prompt and workflow patterns instead of starting from a blank chat every time. 

– Use AI for research, synthesis, planning, drafting, analysis and ideation while retaining human judgement. 

– Challenge, verify and improve AI output rather than accepting the first answer. 

– Tackle when and how confidential or personal information should not be entered into a public AI tool. 

– Create a useful 30-day plan for adopting AI in your own role or business. 

Before you attend. 

– Bring your laptop, charger and two-factor authentication device. 

– Have access to the AI tools you already use. A paid account is not mandatory unless a specific exercise requires a feature only available on your own plan. 

– Bring two repetitive or time-consuming tasks you would like to improve. 

– Bring one example of work you regularly produce, such as a proposal, report, campaign plan, research brief or customer communication. 

– Do not bring confidential client, employee or commercially sensitive data for entry into public AI systems. Use anonymised or dummy data where needed.

The price is £234 including VAT per delegate (£195 + VAT), with lunch and refreshments included. We’ve kept the group to a maximum of eight delegates to make sure everyone gets plenty of hands-on support and time to ask questions.
