About This Event
Launching an ad is easy. Building a paid media programme that is properly structured, measured, and performs well is a different story.
We’re delivering a practical workshop for people who already understand the basics but want more control over campaign objectives, targeting, creative, budgets, landing pages, conversion tracking and optimisation.
Using Google Ads and Meta as the main working examples, the day will help you understand the decisions that matter before, during and after a campaign. We’ll also cover the growing role of platform automation and AI, so you can use automated features with clear objectives and appropriate controls instead of accepting every default recommendation.
Bring a live account if you have one. If you don’t, bring a product or service, target audience and indicative budget and you can build a practical campaign plan from scratch.
Is this the right workshop for you?
This full-day workshop is suited to marketers and business owners who are new to paid advertising, or have created paid campaigns before, but want to go to the next level, build confidence, and make every click count.
In this small workshop environment, you’ll be able to receive live feedback and support from our practitioner to make changes on the day, and leave with a prioritised 30-day action plan.
The session will help you to:
- Translate business objectives into useful campaign objectives and conversion actions in each platform.
- Structure campaigns so budgets, targeting and reporting are easier to manage.
- Improve the relationship between creative, ad copy, offer and landing page.
- Understand bidding, budgets and platform automation.
- Read performance data and diagnose wasted spend.
- Build a practical optimisation routine instead of making random changes.
- Recognise the privacy, consent and measurement considerations around tracking technologies.
Before you attend.
– Bring your laptop, charger and two-factor authentication device.
– Have access to the Google Ads and/or Meta Ads Manager where relevant, plus GA4 if used for campaign measurement.
– Bring one campaign you think is performing well or badly. If you are not yet advertising, bring the product/service, audience and indicative budget you want to plan around.
– Know your primary campaign objective and approximate monthly media budget.
– Identify the conversion that matters most to the business.
