The Challenge
For this project, we were tasked with designing and developing a brand-new website from the ground up. Our goal was to craft a website that not only aligned with their updated brand identity but also provided a seamless user experience and built on their online presence.
A total rebuild like this requires a smart plan, especially when considering preserving SERP results. We needed to make sure this new site preserved their visibility in search engines, a complete rebuild could potentially impact their ranking results if not handled with care.
Our Solution
We focused on future proofing the new website. The concentration was on creating a website that would evolve with the client’s needs so we built the website on a fully customisable CMS framework. This gave Swinburne Maddison’s internal team the tools they needed to manage content in house so they can continually update content as the business grows and expands further.
With a strong existing presence in search engines, we knew that protecting their SEO rankings was critical. A full migration plan was implemented to ensure their SEO wasn’t affected, meaning their search rankings were carefully preserved. The transition was seamless, and so was the data.
And of course, user experience was another central focus. Whether you’re browsing on desktop or scrolling through on mobile, the site was designed to perform well for both, guaranteeing a smooth and engaging user experience across all devices.
